Today at Talk Radio News
Good morning everyone. Today at Talk Radio News it is a busy day. Hearings on Capitol Hill include the House Energy and Commerce Committee which will be taking a look at the reduction of greenhouse gases. Later in the day the House will be looking into the status of the economic stimulus payments that started a few months ago.
This afternoon the Heritage Foundation will be hosting Rep. Sue. Myrick (R-N.C.) to be addressing educating American’s of the threat of radical Islamic extremists. Affordable housing prevention and urban issues with the Urban Caucus will be taking a closer look at the child welfare system.
Lastly, the Supreme Court is set to release a set of opinions which no doubt will make news. Meredith MacKenzie will be reporting today from the Pentagon, expect updates later on.

In the House, the Washington Bureau will cover a full House Committee hearing on China's security developments, a hearing on the national security issues involved with climate change, and a roundtable on diversity. In the Senate, the Bureau will cover a hearing on satisfying energy needs while addressing climate change. Also, the Bureau will cover a hearing on U.S.-Pakistan relations, a discussion of gas price predictions, a hearing on home heating oil prices, and a hearing on the relationship between gas prices and the economy. The Bureau will attend think-tank discussions on Iraq and globalization, a briefing with Senator Barack Obama's (D-Ill.) campaign manager David Plouffe, and a news conference on the expansion of the Earned Income Tax Credit.
