Frank: Arguments Against Same-Sex Marriages Are Flimsy, Inaccurate

House Democrats stood alongside gay and lesbian rights activists Wednesday to announce the re-introduction of legislation that would repeal and replace the controversial Defense of Marriage Act. The legislation, coined the Respect for Marriage Act, would allow state-sanctioned same sex marriages to be federally recognized. Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) says if put to a vote in the House, substantial support for repeal would have been revealed. (0:38)
