Coburn Signs Term Limit Petition

Republican Senator Tom Coburn (Okla.) has attached his name to a pledge aimed at limiting the number of years that lawmakers would be allowed to serve in Congress. Coburn and other interest groups want the pledge to become an amendment, which, if passed, would would limit House members to three consecutive two year terms in office and Senators to two consecutive six year terms.

Republican Senators Release List Of The Worst Stimulus Projects

On Tuesday, Republican Senators John McCain (R-Ariz.) and Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) released a list of the worst projects created by the Recovery Act of 2009.

Titled “Summertime Blues,” the document lists 100 projects that McCain and Coburn believe to be the worst examples of “waste and mismanagement.” To see the list, click here
