Ethics Committee Cites "Credible Evidence" That Ensign May Have Broken Law

The Senate Ethics Committee released a report detailing their investigation of former Senator John Ensign (R-Nev.) Thursday, arguing that there is “substantial credible evidence” that several of the actions he took to conceal an affair with a staffer’s wife may have violated the law.

The Committee’s findings have been sent to the Justice Department and the Federal Elections Commission.

The full report can be read here.
