McDonald's To Hire 50,000 In One Day
Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at 11:36AMMcDonald’s Corp. held it’s first national hiring day Tuesday where 50,000 openings within the company will be filled.
“We’re excited to offer 50,000 new jobs, all across America, all in one day,” said Jans Fields, president of McDonald’s U.S.A.
A McDonald’s representative said the company intends on making concerted efforts to add to its staff as business improves and more stores remain open 24 hours a day.
According to reports, the high hiring rate translates to three or four new employees per McDonald’s restaurant across the country.
