Chamber Of Commerce President To Hold "State Of American Business" Address

Tom Donohue, the President and CEO of the Chamber of Commerce, will hold an address Tuesday on the “State of the American Business.”

Although the White House and the Chamber have been at odds, Tuesday’s speech coincides with a series of steps taken by the Obama administration have been interpreted as an extension of an olive branch to the business community, including the appointment of William Daley, a former J.P. Morgan and Chase Executive, and a high profile meeting last month with top CEOs.
