Senate Hopeful Fiorina In The Hospital

Carly Fiorina, California’s Republican Senatorial candidate, was hospitalized Tuesday.

A statement circulated by the campaign says that Fiorina is receiving treatment for an infection related to reconstructive surgery the candidate received following her bout with breast cancer.

While this will impact her campaign schedule today, Carly is upbeat and her doctors expect her to make a quick and full recovery and be back out on the campaign trail soon,” the statement reads. “Carly is looking forward to getting back to her full campaign schedule and to defeating Barbara Boxer on November 2.”
