New Poll Shows More Dissaprove Than Approve Of Obama
A new poll survey released by Quinnipiac University shows more Americans disapprove of President Barack Obama's job performance than approve.
In a survey of over 2,600 registered voters, 46% said they disapprove of the way Obama is handling his job, while 45% said they approve. The poll had a margin of error of +/- 1.9 percentage points.
Younger voters were more likely to approve of the job Obama has done so far, as were folks earning less income. While the President received low ratings on his overall handling of the economy and job creation, most of those who were surveyed said they support the steps he has taken to try and put Americans back to work.
As for Congress, just 28% of voters approve of the jobs being done by both Democrats and Republicans on Capitol Hill. Perhaps even more alarming, just 2% said they trust government to do what is right most of the time. In addition, only 2% said they were very satisfied with the way things are going in the nation today.
