Terry: Obama's speech was inspirational

Congressman Lee Terry (R-Neb.) says that when it comes to being energy independent, President Obama was "dead on" during his Address to Congress. Terry went on to say that, "He missed some details in there, didn't talk about nuclear power, which is the cleanest most efficient power out there." He continued to say that overall it was a "very good, inspirational speech." (0:51)

Cardin: The President was right on target

Senator Benjamin Cardin (D-Md.) says that President Obama was very open, honest, and direct with the American people in the Address to Congress. Cardin says, "He made it clear that he has the confidence in our country and the people of America and he's going to get the job done, so I thought the President was right on target." (0:23)

Sanders: Cutting the deficit is going to take hard work

Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) speaks after the President's Address to Congress and says that cutting the deficit in half is possible but will take a lot of hard work. Sanders discusses the stimulus package and says that, "I think the President has been very clear. We are going to use the internet, he has an inspector general, Joe Biden is going to play a roll. We want that money to do what it is supposed to do; rebuild America, create jobs, not be wasteful, or spent inefficiently." (1:36)
