Obama, Biden Join House Dems At Retreat

President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden will attend a retreat for House Democrats this weekend in Maryland.

Biden is scheduled to speak Friday afternoon and Obama is expected to attend the retreat this evening.

The appearance comes on the heels of Democrats’ losing control of the House and a heated debate between the White House and the party on the extension of the Bush era tax cuts.

The retreat, entitled the Democratic Issues Conference, is being held in a Cambridge-based hotel along the Chesapeake Bay.
