Giuliani Could Run Again In 2012
Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani signaled Thursday that he may enter the 2012 Presidential race.
“I will take a look at 2012,” Giuliani said during an interview with CNBC’s Larry Kudlow. “Would I have a chance of getting the nomination? Those are things I’ll have to evaluate … as the year goes along.”
When specifically asked by Kudlow if the door was still open, Giuliani replied “yes, absolutely.”
Giuliani entered the fray during the 2008 campaign, but dropped out after losing the Republican primary in Florida, a keystone of his election strategy.
The former Mayor is not the only 2008 alumnus to be mulling a 2012 run. Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee and former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney are both considered possible candidates.
