Group Awarding $50 Million Annually To Study Gulf Coast Spill

At a news conference Monday, Gulf of Mexico Research Initiative (GRI) Chair Dr. Rita Colwell announced the availability of research funding to study the effects of the Deepwater Horizon incident on the Gulf of Mexico. She says that $50 million will be offered annually. (0:47)
