Former New York Times Chief Discusses UN State Of The World's Population Report

UNFPA (United Nations Population Fund) today launched “The State of World Population 2010: From Conflict and Crisis to Renewal: Generations of Change.”  The report highlights a decade old UN Security Council commitment which calls on all governments to protect women from rape during conflict, and to utilize the role of women to build peace. 

Barbara Crossette, the former New York Times chief who authored the report, discusses it. (0:34)
