Why Was The President Surprised By The Outcome In Massachusetts?

White House Correspondent Victoria Jones asks Press Secretary Robert Gibbs why the president was surprised by the outcome in the Massachusetts Senate race, if the president is out of touch. Gibbs responds that he as well was surprised, but he clarifies that they were not surprised on the night of the election but over the course of days leading up to the election. (1:30)
