Astronaut Describes Botched Attempt To Achieve Lunar High Jump Record
Charles Duke Jr., Lunar Module pilot of Apollo 16, describes a spontaneous attempt to achieve the record for highest jump on the moon. Duke describes flipping over and nearly landing on his equipment, which would have endangered his life. Duke says that the botched attempt put an end to "the moon olympics". (0:37)
