U.S. Spending More On Defense Than Rest Of World Combined

Center for American Progress Senior Fellow Lawrence Korb says that rather than instructing Congress to pass a war supplemental, President Obama should cut defense spending in order to offset the cost of sending an additional 30,000 U.S. troops to Afghanistan. Counting supplemental spending, the U.S. spends more on defense than the rest of the world put together, according to Korb. (:06)
