Chairman John M. Spratt (D-SC) makes remarks on the Defense Departments FY2008 requests and the security priorities in the budget request, in the House Budget Committee hearing.

Chairman Spratt announces that the costs for the war in Iraq and Afghanistan have been highly underestimated and that reprioritize is needed within the FY2008 defense budget request. (0:53)
