Dems Hoping Trump Card Yields Returns

The fundraising arm of the House Democratic Caucus is using Donald Trump’s recent notoriety to garner the financial backing of supporters.
In an open letter Friday, Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Executive Director Robby Mook asked supporters to donate and to tell Trump “you’re fired,.”
“The pundits will use our totals to judge whether grassroots Democrats have President Obama’s back and are willing to fight for the issues that really matter or whether Donald Trump continues to rule the day,” said Mook.
Slamming Trump as the “next Sarah Palin,” Mook asked supporters to donate funds in order to send a strong message to both Trump and the GOP.
“That’s why this FEC deadline is so critical,” he said. It’s our chance to show the world that we have our President’s back. Most of all, it’s out change to expose the GOP’s real extremist agenda — ending Medicare, defunding Planned Parenthood, destroying NPR, and giving huge tax breaks for billionaires and Big Oil companies.”
