Anthony Weiner: GOP Waging Class Warfare

Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.), an outspoken critic of the Republican party, says the GOP’s plan to cut spending and reduce the deficit goes too far.

“The Republicans and their radical fringe enablers in the Tea Party are waging class warfare on steroids just so they can give the rich even more tax breaks,” Weiner said in a Democratic fundraising email on Thursday.

Weiner called the 2012 budget package crafted by House Budget Chairman Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) extreme and said that it would “force seniors to clip coupons if they need to see a doctor.”
