Westboro Baptist Church Vows To Picket Actress Elizabeth Taylor's Funeral

Notorious anti-gay group the Westroboro Baptist Church announced via Twitter Wednesday that they plan on picketing movie star Elizabeth Taylor’s funeral.

“Elizabeth Taylor … spent her life in adultery and enabling proud fag,” a Twitter post from Margie Phelps, the church’s most visible member, reads. “They cuss her in hell today.”

Taylor, the star of classic films Cleopatra and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, died Wednesday at 79.

The Supreme Court ruled earlier this month that the church’s protests outside of funerals are Constitutionally protected.
