Dems Target Strickland For DNC

Ohio Governor Ted Strickland will likely be selected to replace departing DNC Chairman Tim Kaine, according to Politico.

Top Democrats have signaled that Strickland is a strong contender but have not committed to any decision yet because Kaine has not yet made a commitment of his own.

Kaine has been looking at returning to Virginia to seek Sen. Jim Webb’s (D-Va.) seat, but has not officially announced his entry into the race.
