Obama's Approval Rating Inches Back Up In New Poll

A new Zogby Interactive poll shows that President Obama’s approval rating has reached its highest point since late October.

46% of voters who took part in the survey said they approve of the job Obama is doing, up two percentage points from last week. Meanwhile, 53% said they disapprove, down three percentage points from last week. 44% of voters said they support Obama’s handling of the crisis in Egypt.

The poll also revealed that 38% of voters said they support the job being done by Congressional Republicans, an increase of 13 percentage points since the start of the new Congress.
