Poll: Fifty-Two Percent Of Americans Unaware Of Egypt Protests

According to a new poll conducted by the Pew Research Center, just more than half of Americans have heard little or nothing at all about the Egypt protests.

The poll of 1,385 Americans yielded clear indication that Americans are not thinking about the situation in the Middle East a whole lot.

Majorities of Democrats and Independents say Obama has handled the situation about right, whereas Republicans are more reserved in showing confidence in the president’s handling of the situation.
