Senate Defeats Health Care Repeal

The Senate voted against repealing the health care reform law Wednesday evening.

The final vote came in at 47-51, with no members of either party defecting.

Despite Republicans’ failure to eliminate the controversial law legislatively, health care reform continues to remain under attack. A Florida judge issued a ruling this week that argued that the law was unconstitutional. Ultimately, the law will likely come before the Supreme Court.
