Taliban May Change Strategy, Target Afghan Leaders For Assassination, Says General

“They’re going to come back with a different kind of strategy,” Rodriguez said via-satellite from Afghanistan. “I believe it will be focused on the leadership more than it ever has.”
The General added that these techniques could include assassination teams and IEDs.
Rodriguez is the second-highest ranking officer in Afghanistan.
