Waxman, Frank To Hold Ranking Spots On Their Committees
Representatives Henry Waxman (D-Calif.) and Barney Frank (D-Mass.) will continue to hold the top Democratic spots on both the Energy and Commerce and Financial Services Committee once Republicans take over the House.
The two chairmen will be designated the Committee’s Ranking Members.
It was also announced Thursday that Sander Levin (D-Mich.) will hold the top Dem positionon the House Ways and Means Committee. Rep. Robert Brrady will be the Ranking Member on the Administration Committee.
Norm Dicks (D-Wash.) will take over from outgoing Rep. David Obey on the Appropriations Committee.
