Murray Winner In Close Washington Race

The Associated Press is reporting that Republican candidate Dino Rossi conceded to incumbent Democrat Patty Murray Thursday night in the race for Washington state’s Senate seat. This will be Murray’s fourth term. 

Murray held a 51 to 49 point lead Thursday evening with about three quarters of the votes counted.  The AP has predicted that the roughly 46,000 votes lead Murray held over Rossi has pushed her to an unbeatable level.
