DADT Report Expected By December 1

A crucial report being conducted by the Pentagon concerning the implications of repealing “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” is only weeks from being completed.

The Pentagon’s press secretary Geoff Morrell said that the report is on schedule and is expected to be in the hands of Defense Secretary Robert Gates by December 1.

“In 26 days’ time, the secretary will have the work product that he thinks is so necessary for us to be able to fully understand the full implications of a repeal of ‘Don’t ask, don’t tell’ and then what additional measures we need to take in preparation for that eventuality,” Morrell said.
