GOP Gains Now At 62

Rep. Solomon Ortiz (D-Texas) conceded defeat in his race against Republican Blake Farenthold late Monday night. 

After a recount denied Ortiz the 648 votes needed to emerge victorious, his concession marks yet another GOP victory, now at 62, adding to the historic landslide of Democratic losses on November 3. 

Four races have yet been decided, two in California and two in New York.
