Dingell Regains Momentum In Michigan

A new poll shows Rep. John Dingell (D-Mich.) is back in his comfort zone as he pulls away from his Republican counterpart Rob Steele.

According to Real Clear Politics, Dingell has a comfortable 17 point lead over Steele in Michigan’s 15th District. The Dingell family has represented Michigan’s 15th District since its inception after the 1930 Census. Early polls showed Steele on the verge of upsetting the Dingell dynasty, but new numbers show the Republican’s campaign losing steam.

Dingell now holds 53 percent support from likely voters compared to just 36 percent for Steele.
