Poll: McMahon Trails Blumenthal By Double-Digit Margin In CT

A recent Quinnipiac Poll shows World Wrestling Entertainment CEO Linda McMahon (R) falling further behind in her Connecticut Senate race against state District Attorney Richard Blumenthal (D).

McMahon closed the gap in recent polls, coming within three points of the Democrat, but October seems to have given Blumenthal a boost, increasing his margin by eight  points. The poll shows that Blumenthal now holds 54 percent support from likely voters, while McMahon lags behind with 43 percent.

In last month’s poll, Blumenthal narrowly led the WWE CEO, 49%-46%.
