Earthquake Hits DC
Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at 1:59PMAs Ellen Ratner was on the Thom Hartmann show in the Talk Radio News office, an earthquake rocked the office.
The computers began to shake and the floor started vibrating as everyone in the office ran for cover in the doorway.
People in Union Station feared there was a bomb as they felt everything around them shake.
Many are evacuating their buildings, including those in the Pentagon and Capitol buildings.
The earthquake was ranked a 5.8 on the richter scale.
