Palin Launching Bus Tour
Sarah Palin will launch a bus tour this Sunday, the latest sign that the former Alaska Governor may be considering a White House run.
Entitled “The One Nation Tour,” the trip will begin in Washington, D.C. and take Palin up the East coast to “historical sites that were key to the formation, survival, and growth of the United States of America,” according to SarahPAC, Palin’s political action committee,
The announcement comes the week after Palin told Fox News that she has “that fire in the belly” necessary for a presidential run and only one day after it was revealed that Palin tapped conservative filmmaker Stephen K. Bannon to make a movie defending her. The film, entitled “Undefeated” is set to premier in Iowa, a key primary state that is expected to back a socially conservative candidate.
Although SarahPAC appears coy about the intentions of the tour, they are describing it as an effort to promote “the Fundamental Restoration of America.” SarahPAC is also using the announcement to urge Palin supporters to make a “generous donation.”
Tour dates have not yet been posted.
