Google Giving Voice To Egyptians Amid Internet Blackout  

Internet powerhouse Google announced Monday that they will attempt to help the opinions of the Egyptian people be heard following the internet blackout in the country.

Voicemail Egyptians leave after calling an international number set up by Google will be transcribed and posted on Twitter, according to the company’s official blog.

We hope that this will go some way to helping people in Egypt stay connected at this very difficult time,” the blog reads. “Our thoughts are with everyone there.”
