Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Names 2011 Nominees
Shock rock artist Alice Cooper and disco queen Donna Summer are two of the artists who could be inducted into the Rock and Roll of Fame in 2011.
The Cleveland based institution released their list of nominees Wednesday. Other artists include New Jersey rock outfit Bon Jovi, gravelly voiced crooner Tom Waits and Donovan, the British answer to Bob Dylan.
Representatives from the hip hop community also made the list, including LL Cool J and the Beastie Boys.
Artists are eligible for induction 25 years after the release of their first album. Past inductees include obvious additions such as the Beatles, Elvis and the Rolling Stones as well as lesser known acts like The Stooges and Patti Smith.
