WikiLeaks
WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange suggested over the weekend that the rape charges filed against him could have emerged from the Pentagon as a way prevent Assange from publishing additional classified U.S. documents on his website.
The Pentagon flatly denies any involvement.
“That allegation is simply ridiculous,” Pentagon spokesperson Bryan Whitman told reporters Monday.
