During a press conference on Thursday, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) said that with respect to a vote on Wall Street reform, “the games of stalling are over."
Reid played video clips of statements from Senate Republican leaders about Wall Street Reform, calling some of the claims “lies” and “untrue.”
If Democrats and Republicans do not agree to begin debate on the Senate bill, said Reid, he will move to schedule the first procedural vote on it for Monday evening.
“I’m not going to waste any more time of the American people while they come up with some agreement,” Reid vowed.
