Pelosi: There Were A Number Of Things Obama Was For On The Campaign Trail

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) took a swipe at President Barack Obama Tuesday, contrasting candidate Obama with President Obama.
“There are a number of things he was for on the campaign trail,” the Speaker joked when asked during an afternoon press conference if she supported C-Span’s request to include cameras in a possible conference, a possibility a reporter reminded the speaker was a campaign promise from then-Senator Obama.
The Speaker is likely referring to a public insurance option, a program that Pelosi, as well as progressive members of the Democratic party, have supported with more enthusiasm than the president.
