- A Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs full committee hearing on Monitoring the Nation's Response on H1N1 Flu.

- A Congressional economic forum hosted by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.).

-Rep. Joe Courtney (D-Conn.) and Rep. Ken Calvert (R-Calif) hold a news conference to discuss homebuyer tax credit extension.

-Rep. Bruce Braley (D-Iowa.) on healthcare reform and medical malpractice.

-Rep. Charles Gonzalez (D-Texas.) on the Census Bureau.

-Senate Veterans Affairs full committee hearing, to provide improved benefits for veterans who are former prisoners of war.

-House Armed Services, full committee hearing on "U.S. Military Redeployment from Iraq: Issues and Challenges."

-House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Highways and Transit Subcommittee hearing on "Addressing the Problem of Distracted Driving."

-Rep. Yvette Clarke (D-N.Y.) on immigration reform.

-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, delivers a major nonproliferation policy address titled "Reinvigorating the Nonproliferation Regime: a U.S.-led Diplomatic Campaign," to the United States Institute of Peace.

-Senators Harry Reid (D-N.v.), Patrick Leahy (D-V.t.) and Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) on health insurance reform.
