Chief Pentagon Correspondent Meredith MacKenzie will be at the Pentagon today to cover a briefing with Secretary of Defense Robert Gates and Vice Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. James Cartwright. The Washington Bureau will be covering a protest of John McCain's strategy to privatize social security put on by the Democratic National Party outside of Republican National Committee Headquarters. They will be joined by Rep. Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-D.C.).
