The Washington Bureau will be attending a news conference to mark the one millionth addition to the Transportation Security Administration's terrorist watch list held by the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), in addition to a discussion on "Israel's Airstrike on Syria's Nuclear Reactor: Preventive War and the Nonproliferation Regime" hosted by The United States Institute of Peace (USIP). In the afternoon, the bureau will attend a forum on how the next president will "Pay the Nation's Bills" hosted by the AARP, as well as a discussion with Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.) on gas prices. A briefing on "Trade Remedy Laws: Leveling the Playing Field" held by The Women in International Trade Charitable Trust and Blank Rome LLP will also be covered, in addition to a forum on "Protecting American Justice: Ensuring Confirmation of Qualified Judicial Nominees."
