This morning, the Washington Bureau will be covering a discussion on "Taiwan's Election and U.S. Policy," by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, and also a discussion on "Another Warning for Medicare?"

This afternoon, they will be covering a conference call briefing on a nationwide campaign supported by 25
Democratic challengers for House and Senate seats, organized under the banner of the policy paper, "A Responsible Plan to End the War in Iraq." A second conference call to discuss its new study that shows that giving cell phones to 62 percent of America's poorest households could generate several billions of dollars for those who need it most, will also be covered.

This evening, they will be covering 2008 presidential candidate Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY) and her daughter Chelsea Clinton's "March to Victory" low-dollar fundraising event.
