Think Tank Calls For End Of Excessive Use Of Antibiotics In Industrial Farming
The Pew Charitable Trusts Environment Group Senior Advisor Robert Martin says during a discussion on Capitol Hill that the main objective of the Pew Commission on Industrial Farm Animal Production is to stop the use of seven classes of antibiotics that are commonly used in human bacterial treatment from use on factory farms unless animals or herds are sick with disease.
