United Church Of Christ Named As A Supporter Of Local FM Radio Legislation

During a House Energy and Commerce subcommittee markup section Thursday, Rep. Mike Doyle (D-Pa.) lists a number of supporters of H.R. 1147, otherwise known as the Local Community Radio Act of 2009. Among them is the United Church of Christ which became a noted congregation during the 2008 election campaign when it was discovered that one of its pastors, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, made controversial remarks about the United States. (:21)
