Environmetal Fellow Thomas Tanton says making movies saves energy
Thomas Tanton, Environmental Fellow for the Pacific Research Institute, says during a briefing on California’s Energy Policies that California slowed growth in electricity use when its economic structure shifted from high energy manufacturing to service oriented businesses and making movies. He says not all states can reduce energy use this way, since manufacturing must still happen somewhere. (0:00)
