Preventative Hurricane System "Stronger And More Resilient" Than Ever

Brigadier General Michael Walsh, Commander of the Mississippi Valley Division of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, says the Corps has completed more than one-third of the construction for improvements in the greater New Orleans area following the damage caused by Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
