If Reid Proposal Gets Through Senate, House GOP Will Have To Approve It, Says Udall

Sen. Tom Udall (D-N.M.) expresses his frustration with reporters Tuesday on the debt limit debacle consuming Capitol Hill. While optimistic a deal will be done by the August 2 deadline, Udall says he doesn’t understand Republican opposition to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s (D-Nev.) plan, which omits revenue increases.
