Gates Discussing Extended U.S. Presence With Iraqi Officials

While in Iraq Friday, Defense Secretary Robert Gates told troops that he has been discussing an extended U.S. presence in the country with Iraqi officials. However, Gates noted, the Iraqi government would have to let the U.S. know soon. (0:27)
