Study: States Not Putting Aside Enough For Pension Plans, Could Pass Costs On To Taxpayers

A study conducted by the Pew Center on the States shows that the gap between state’s promised pension plans and the amount they are actually putting aside is growing at an alarming rate. Susan Urahn, managing director of Pew Center on the States says that this could ultimately burden put the burden on taxpayers. (0:41)
