House Republican Wants To Help Americans Opt Out Of Insurance Mandate

Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Mich.) introduced legislation earlier in the week that would allow consumers and small businesses to apply for health care waivers to avoid being penalized for an inability to pay under the individual mandate. Rogers said during a phone conference Thursday that it was unfair for the Obama administration to only grant waivers to large corporations. (0:33)
